Along with Grammy nominations, Emmy nominations, Billboard Awards, (CMA) Country Music Awards, Cashbox Awards, ACM Awards, Juno Awards, Big Country Awards, BMI and Ascap Songwriter and Publisher Awards, his songs have garnered a plethora of gold, platinum, and multi-platinum records from countries spanning the globe.

Inspire’s success stories include using music to emotionally brand Whole Foods Market, Staples, JC Penney, Caruso, Office Depot, Coldwater Creek, Ralphs, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, USA Gymnastics, American Greetings, Claire’s Accessories, Hudson Booksellers, Legg Mason, Visa, Gymboree, SMU University, UPS, Kimberly-Clark, CBRE, St. Joseph’s Aspirin, Loyola Press, Buca di Beppo Restaurants; UC Merced – and many, many others.

Jimmy has produced many large-scale charitable multi-media events, including MS Society, Sheriff’s Youth Foundation and Whole Foods Market at Austin City Limit’s Moody Theatre.

In the foundation world, Jimmy was a Principal for the Los Angeles County’s Sheriff’s Youth Foundation serving thousands of inner-city youth, increasing revenues by 82% and reimagining every arm of the foundation.

Numerous television credits include writing and Producing for  primetime ABC hit series’; including Paramount Pictures’ “Happy Days.”  Screenwriting credits include feature films for Universal Studios, Disney, Touchstone, Columbia Pictures and HBO.

A children’s book Jimmy Dunne has recently written, “The Shepherd’s Story,” is being published by Loyola Press — slated with a Christmas, 2020 release.

Dunne has been a keynote speaker at numerous music industry, media industry, and corporate conferences and events, and lectures at UCLA, SMU, and USC.  He’s on the SMU Meadows School of Journalism Advisory Board, (and wrote SMU’s Song, “SMU Forever”).  Jimmy is very active in community leadership roles, recently honored as Pacific Palisades’ ‘Citizen of the Year’ — along with founding multiple youth sports conferences.

Dunne graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa from the University of Kentucky; in the top 1% with double-major Honors Program Degrees in Journalism and Business, while double-minoring in Music Composition and Communications.

Married to award-winning interior designer Catherine Bailly Dunne, they have two daughters – living in Pacific Palisades, California.
